Yvonne Augustt

Ms. Augustt is a lawyer and private practitioner with over ten (10) years at the Bar. She received her LL.B from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi (KNUST) in 2009, and was called to the Ghana Bar in 2015 when she received her Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law. Ms. Augustt also possesses a Certificate in Administration and Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

Between the years 2009 and 2012, Ms. Augustt worked with multinational mining companies as an Industrial Relations Officer, in which role she also acted as a liaison between the company and its external lawyers. Upon receipt of her Qualifying Certificate in Law in 2015, Ms. Augustt joined one of the country’s largest law firms as a Pupil Lawyer, became an Associate, and eventually, one the heads of the firm’s teams. She has provided consultancy services as a labour expert for both Ghanaian business concerns and international organizations.

Ms. Augustt possesses extensive experience in the legal aspect of human resource management and industrial relations. In this respect, she has provided compliance, advisory, transactional, and dispute resolution services to both employers and employees, and aided them in navigating the myriad difficulties which may arise within the employment relationship. In addition to her primary focus in employment law, Ms. Augustt has also provided advisory services on the applicability of various income tax and petroleum enactments to both multinational and domestic petroleum companies.
