Sandra Ankobiah

A dedicated and accomplished lawyer with a strong passion for justice and advocacy, Sandra brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to every case she handles. Known for her professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail, she has built a reputation for delivering effective legal solutions while ensuring her clients feel informed and supported throughout the legal process.

Called to the Ghana Bar in 2013, Sandra began private legal practice with a couple of law firms before establishing SGA Legal. Between 2016 and 2018, she was the public relations officer for FIDA Ghana (International Federation of Women Lawyers) As a vocal member of (FIDA-Ghana), she volunteers her time and services towards enhancing the status of women across the country.

In 2016, she was appointed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports as an ambassador for women’s football in Ghana. Sandra’s excitement and commitment to this role drove her to raise funds and increase awareness and patronage of the women’s game and also their support base.

In 2017, the US embassy together with the US state department selected her to participate in the Fortune’s Most Powerful Women’s Program. The global women’s mentoring program pairs international businesswomen at the crossroads of their leadership paths, with top American female executives – Fortune’s Most Powerful Women. This program afforded Sandra the opportunity to work for one month at one of the top Law Firms in America, headed by a woman. Sandra is the founder and Executive Director of The Women’s Institute, a non-profit organization, which drives education and empowerment initiatives for women.

A firm believer that education is the irreplaceable backbone of any society, Sandra studied International and Commercial Law, with a specialization in World Trade, from the University of Buckingham, England (LLB, LLM) between 2005 and 2009.
